An apology: Fabregas all over again on The West Brom Blog!
By: Ethan Dean-Richards | July 12th, 2010The West Brom Blog has no-where left to go – it’s going to have to drink think Its way out of this one. But onto the controversy.

Have you seen the anger over at the Barcelona offside, directed at Barca players who, whilst celebrating Spain’s World Cup win, thrust a Barca shirt onto Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas? Well the West Brom Blog needed to get in on that action, so It’s made up an equivalent story of Its own!
It goes like this:
West Brom and Wolves met up in Holland yesterday (they didn’t) and, for some unknown reason (a made up one), Kevin Doyle got himself isolated amongst the West Brom squad. From there, reports vary, but it is believed that Scott Carson lunged at Doyle, attempting to hook him with a Baggies shirt. Graham Dorrans joined in and was soon followed by – shame on him – the manager, Roberto Di Matteo.
It is believed that the players and manager genuinely thought that this was how to sign Kevin Doyle – or any relatively good player. For this, and so many other things, The West Brom Blog can only apologise.

Does this count as ‘in poor taste’?

The Blog hopes so

Please express your displeasure here…

It seems that no-one cares about The West Brom Blog’s attempt at controversy

Shirt rules count!! Get the shirt on him and the player is signed! Them’s the rules! Look for targeted players to walk around with large plastic cones around their head now, lol

The West Brom Blog is on It’s way out after Cristiano Ronaldo as we speak…

GODSPEED!

Latest tip: Messi is in the Copacaban beach in Rio de Janeiro!

Very funny, I have no idea who the player you are seeking is but once the shirt is on there is no backsies. Like Jose said, “them the rules” which i think is a direct quote from the FIFA rulebook.

Great. Soon, there’ll be a deluge of Wolves fans here writing insulting comments about Carson’s sexuality, intelligence and the originality of his grandmother’s recipe for scones, and then threatening with stadium violence and the freezing of commercial relations between Wolverhamptom and West Bromwich. Nuclear weapons may or may not be mentioned.
Everyone will forget about the massive occasion that made both teams meet in Holland.
And Doyle, bless his soul, will stay at Wolves. He might keep the shirt, though.

Thats how barca stole our Villa at Valencia.. the 40 million was just a bonus

I’d probably accept a shirt Carson thrust at me. Gap tooth and all.
